Nuyorican Logo Usage

The Nuyorican Logo can only be used in black or in white, against any color or photographic background. Dark backgrounds show the white logo best.

You may not outline the logo, distort it to fit space on your flyer, or use it in any color except black as shown here.

The Nuyorican Logo was created by Clare Ultimo in 1998. Lois Griffith named our iconic poet/performer "Mikey" after Miguel Piñero, a founding poet. Illustration by Kobena Gyepi-Garbrah.
